Well, she’s five months today!

Here’s a pic taken yesterday during her tube furlough. She’s been sticking her tongue out at me a lot lately. Must be payback for all the pokes and prods she’s gotten these past months.

At five months she’s sleeping through the night (although we’re not), she’s requesting attention socially, she’s grabbing at stuff and enjoying Simon’s company above all others. She just about pees herself when he’s around. He likes to take her pacifier out of her mouth and put it back in, with questionable accuracy. He’s also getting great at untangling himself from her oxygen tube. Haven’t seen that skill listed on any developmental chart, but I’m sure he’s way ahead.

Also, now that her Klingon cradle cap has been combed out, she’s finally getting some fuzzy brown hair coming in on top. We can’t wait to see what color her hair will ultimately be. Please pray that we will continue to have the privilege of knowing her more and more as the months go by. I’m praying for you and yours.

Love, Jane.
