I did not realize how happy I would be to have that tube out! I’ve been forcing myself to accept the tube and not dwell on it and haven’t even allowed myself to think about how it would feel to have her eating orally again. I have to tell you, it’s been just great.


We’ve got a lot of news to report here at Rancho Ramona. And some photos to share.


Please extend your prayers to Bruce and Kati who lost their son, Seamus, to complications of congenital heart disease yesterday. Ramona’s little heart buddy was a very special boy and will be missed.

It looks like we’re heading home today. The discharge orders have not yet been written, but hopefully sometime this afternoon we’ll be on our way.


Jane called me this afternoon and asked me to post an update on Ramona’s condition. She and Andy have been pretty busy and haven’t had a chance to write up the latest news. (more…)
