Easter Wrap-Up!
Posted at 1:32 pm by Jane under Updates
We had a nice Easter with friends and family. Simon and Ramona enjoyed an indoor egg hunt (we had a snow storm on Good Friday) and opened their easter baskets.
We had a quick trip to the ER on Saturday night. Ramona had an allergic reaction to her antibiotics for the strep. We discontinued the meds and have been giving her benadryl to help with the discomfort.
Here’s a few shots of the bambinos with their Easter loot (and a pic of the easter eggs, it was my mom’s idea to make them look like fish)...
Love, Jane.

I cannot contain the feeling of anticipation of putting my hands on Sweet Pea and Mr. Funny and holding them for a second or two before the squirming begins. Do they know that BIG Papa and Grammie Sue are coming to play?

I’m glad you had a nice Easter and the ER trip on Saturday night didn’t ruin the fun. The kids look darling and so do your fishy Easter eggs!

Sorry to hear about the trip to the ER. (I have a website that has id bracelets for emergencies-let me know if you need it. Andy’s been wearing his bracelet for 7 yrs now)
I love the fishy eggs. The kids look great!

jane – glad to hear the trip to the ER was resolved quickly and you were able to celebrate a nice (indoor) Easter. i love the fish eggs as well (if they’re fish eggs, does that make them caviar?) If you ever need to review alternative antibiotics, lemme know as we’ve been looking at those issues as well with aves. until then, peace. sarah p

The pics are great! I love the fish. :) Very cute. I’m glad to hear the ER trip wasn’t too worrisome, although allergic reactions are never fun.

I am so impressed at what you can do still. Aidan doesn’t know what a christmas tree is or an easter basket. He was the only child in daycare that didn’t (whose mommy didn’t) do valentines for the other classmates. Not sure how long it will take me to get it together…hopefully by the time he is old enough to be scared for life for never decorating an egg.

Wow, you had a busy weekend which included a trip to the ER and you still found time for an easter egg hunt and to decorate eggs. Jane, you’re making the rest of us moms look bad.
Everything looks great. Love Ramona’s hair and it looks like the kids definitely appreciated your efforts with those baskets.
