Today is Ramona’s 9th Monthiversary! Jane and I were remembering today that there was a time when we didn’t know if Ramona would get to see green grass or feel a warm afternoon breeze on her face. Well, she has. And as we approach her 12th Monthiversary, we’re thankful.

Thankful for the support from family and friends. Thankful for the health our family has. Thankful for God’s many provisions. Thanks for checking back in, and walking this road with us a little bit.

Ramona is doing well at home. Her O2 saturations are consistently in the mid 80’s, and she is slowly but surely eating more solids by mouth (or as her speech therapist says, she’s organizing her bolus). The current hope is to get Ramona off the feeding tube by the end of the year, which would be great.
