We’re home! We are exhausted and more than a little cranky but we’re home. Actually, Ramona seems to be the least cranky of us all.
Andy, my mom and I have all noticed that she seems to be pinker and seems to have more energy. She’s already resumed her normal activities and is eating like a champ. It would almost seem too good to be true if Andy and I weren’t so worn out.
Thank you for your prayers. I hope to post more about what this all means after I’ve had a chance to speak with her cardiologist and get clear about what the new plan might be. Here’s a shot of Ramona, about a half an hour ago, back on her new favorite toy…
Welcome back home, little princess! You did a great job and you are so brave. You look so pretty and healthy. You are in our prayers.
PS — I’ll be praying that mom and dad get some much needed rest. Sleep deprivation and exhaustion are no fun at all!
Oh, Jane. I’m so glad to hear that this latest hospital event is over and has left Ramona pink and smiling. But as my current favorite author reminds me, being in the waiting room IS being in the hospital, so don’t underestimate YOUR need to recover, too. I hope that your talks with doctors bring more goodness.
That is my precious Sweet Pea. Go, girl, go – Yeah Ramona !!
Dear Ones,
Hurrah for Mona Mae & for YOU, her tired yet happy parents.
Look out, now: more good things ahead!
Thanks for sharing your news & yourselves with us & for including pictures! Ramona looks great!
XOXO

Wow, she looks wonderful! I saw Sue earlier and she seemed to have a little extra spring in her step…after seeing this picture I can undersdtand why. I hope you all get some rest tonight.
Angie
Yay! I’m glad your little family is back home. Take care of each other in the coming days, you all need a little extra TLC after a hospital stay. I hope you get some good sleep tonight!

Wow, wonderful! Peace and rest to you tonight.
Wow! I can’t believe she’s up and about so quickly. She looks great. Can’t wait to see you all again.
And oh, great hat Mona Mae!
Ramona Mae, you’re a pistol! God bless you sweetheart.
Rest up mom and dad.
Love,
Jackie
How awesome! She looks so pink-cheeked and happy. For a girl who was in surgery a couple of days ago, she looks really good! Praise God! Hope you guys can get some rest, because it looks like Ramona is ready to go!
Wow, Ramona Mae, you look amazing, and cute as ever. And look at those pink cheeks! I can’t believe you’re home already. O.K., actually I can because you’re Ramona, but still…Get some rest mom and dad.
Love, Val

Nothing stops that beautiful little girl. Right back to playing and eating with a big pink-cheeked smile on her face! She looks fabulous and the news sounds so positive. We’ll keep praying for more good news when you meet with the CV team. We hope you get some much needed sleep, mom and dad.
Wowee wow wow! What an insane few days you guys have just had. I can’t believe you are home and taking pictures of your little one on her trike! In-sane! I am so glad to hear that her hospital stay was relatively uneventful (in retrospect) and hope you and Andy can allow yourselves to rest and SLEEP until you meet with the surgery team. Seriously. Sleep, sleeeeep, sleeeeeeeeeep….
She is sooooooo cute!!! I am praying for all of you and that you get the rest you need.
Jane and Andy

Oh, she just looks so determined to have fun! What a great personality. Sounds like you guys could use a three-month vacation. Hope you at least get to sleep through the night. Love and prayers….
Just looked at this site today after a week or so of not – oh my goodness what a lot has been going on! I am so glad Ramona is home and doing well. My prayers for her continued recovery from surgery, for peace as you wait for the cardiology plan and try to take in everything you’ve learned in the last days, and for God’s grace to be with you all always. Love, Anne
Such good news! I’m finally getting back on internet and was so pleased to read over the last few posts and see this as the final. Erin
Welcome home, beautiful girl!
You are such a fighter! Keep up the good work!
Now please let Mommy and Daddy catch up on their sleep. Maybe you and Simon can bring them breakfast in bed!
