Tomorrow, Ramona will be coming home again. Basically the Cardiac Floor can’t do anything for her that Jane and Andy can’t do for her at home. So rather than sending her upstairs from the PICU she is headed home.

Jane and Andy are scared, freaked out, and worried about taking on Ramona’s care at home once again. They are trying to be brave and give it their best shot but will need tons of support and prayer from all of us. Things hopefully, will look a bit different than they did last time. She will be on 1 liter of Oxygen as she is now but she will still be given the methadone and Adivan medications while being weaned off them at a much slower rate.

When Jane and I were discussing tomorrow’s plan today I could hear little Mona Mae in the background chatting away. She is having a pretty good day today and has even worked up a few smiles. You go Ramona!

Ramona does have a cold now so please pray for her to get over that quickly as it is adding to her difficulites. For those of you keeping score the good news I have to report today is about weight. When they brought her into the hospital on March 2nd she weighed in at 10 lbs 2 oz and today she is up to 11 lbs 3 oz. so she is moving in the right direction. Grow Mona Grow Mona.

Ramona’s big challenge to overcome to coming home and learning to be calm, grow and thrive on her own. She has an amazing family around her to take care of her and love her but this is also her mountain to climb.
Thank you all for your continued prayers for Ramona, Jane, Andy and Simon.

Please join me in praying that God would strengthen them and bind them together in this and provide rest opportunites when they need it.

Thanks
Jen
