Surgery possible

I just talked to Andy. Ramona has been admitted to the hospital and they are currently doing some tests.
Back in February, Ramona had her open-heart surgery, during which they enlarged her pulmonary artery and put a patch over it. The goal was to increase the blood flow so that her artery would start growing a lot bigger on its own. Now it looks like there is an aneurism in that spot, indicated by some bulging and too much blood flow. This aneurism indicates that there could be a problem with the repair done in February.
Currently, the doctors are conducting a lot of tests to be sure about what is going on. It is very possible that Ramona will need to have another open-heart surgery before she is released from the hospital.
Pray with us for wisdom and skill on the part of the doctors, and peace for Ramona and the whole family as they face this trial together.
Cr*p. I just feel miserable for Ramona and all of you guys. I had hoped the bluish tinge was just some TET bluing pre-repair and they’d say it was okay to wait a bit. I am glad you ended up going to the ER and caught the aneurism.
I will keep all of you in my thoughts and hope that Ramona does well with whatever tests and procedures are needed.
I won’t say “hang in there” because there isn’t exactly an exit ramp you can take right now.

I’m sorry you have to go through this again. It sounds like Ramona is where she needs to be right now. I understand how difficult this is. Please call me anytime if you need to talk. I am constantly praying for you all and sending lots of love.

Dear Jane and Andy,
I am praying- praying hard for that beautiful little daughter of yours. This is certainly terrible news, but I am praying for a quick repair and swift recovery for your dear, sweet baby. Such a delicate child of God should not have to be put through this.
May God bless you with strength to deal with all you must endure.

I am praying for Ramona and your family.
My heart is breaking and I don’t know what to say. I’m praying for you all…that God will give you peace…that Ramona won’t feel too much pain…that we’ll see God in this somehow….it’s so hard to understand why this is happening.
You’re all in our prayers.
Ramona is strong and a fighter…. though I didn’t expect the next surgery to happen so soon maybe the Lord is just speeding up the timetable on her complete recovery.
I continue to believe that God has a special plan for Ramona.

Dear Lord, our Heavenly and gracious Father, author of love, mercy and grace. The one true God of righteousness and justice, who is the Holiest of Holies, the Beginning and the End, the Creator and giver of life. By Your Word the universe formed, light separated from dark and man breathed life. Through Your sacrifice on the cross we are redeemed from our transgressions, forgiven and made whole and once again acceptable in you sight. You are omnipresent and nothing is beyond your view, you are omnipotent and nothing is beyond your will.
With Jesus my Lord and Savior, acting as my mediator, I wish to petition for the healing, protection and gentle care of the precious and awesome gift you have given to us. We love Ramona and will do everything in our limited power to care for her. You are doing a mighty work in our Sweet Pea. We thank you for her growth and development in ways that are remarkable and beyond our understanding. Thank you for the healing that has occurred and for the protection you have given.
You are the Great Healer and giver of life. You healed the lame man, made the blind man see, cast out evil and restored Lazarus to life. You have promised to hear our prayers and to heal in Jesus name according to your will and purpose. I ask in the name of your Son, my Lord and Savior, Jesus, that Ramona be healed of this affliction and made whole. I ask that you protect her with legions of your mighty warriors acting as a hedge and cover where ever she goes.
